Equal Skies Charter

We are proud to be part of the Equal Skies Charter, ensuring the skies have no limits.

The Equal Skies Charter’s mission is to build a world where people with a disability have equal access to the benefits and opportunities provided by aviation and aerospace industries. By changing the way the sector see disability we will open aviation, aerospace, and the skies to all.

The Equal Skies Charter has recently launched its first research project into disability employment within the aviation and aerospace industries and is inviting all aviation and aerospace organisations to contribute.

The questionnaire, which focuses on the employment of workers with disabilities, asks businesses about the procedures they have put in place for staff to disclose their disabilities, how confident they are in their organization's ability to evaluate and meet these employees' needs, and what would help them enhance accessibility in their business.

The charter will use the study to collect the information required to advance its goal of ensuring "that people with a disability have equal access to the benefits and opportunities provided by the aviation and aerospace industries."

The Equal Skies Charter is a collaboration between leading aviation diversity advocates. Members include Aerobility, NATS, Bristow Group, 2Excel Aviation, London Biggin Hill Airport, University of West London, UK Civil Aviation Authority (CAA), SaxonAir Private Air Travel, Blackbushe Airport and Evenbreak.
