Farnborough CAS Implementation

On 29th January, NATS Farnborough gave a presentation on the Controlled Airspace implementation from 27th February 2020 - Class D

For those who were unable to attend, or to assist in preparing for the new airspace, Blackbushe Airport has made available the below resources.  Please do take the time to review them.

RULES & PROCEDURES

The new Blackbushe Airport Rules & Procedures are now available at: https://www.blackbusheairport.co.uk/aerodrome

The full rules are available from there as a PDF, and a summary is on the page.  In addition, the Terms & Conditions, OOH Procedures, and the Blackbushe AIP Entry are available on this page and all have been updated with effect 27th February 2020.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

In addition, we have created an FAQ's page which answers some of the questions users have been raising: https://www.blackbusheairport.co.uk/faqs-for-class-d.  This will be updated when new questions arise.

The CAA have produced an update regarding the new Farnborough CAS and advice on preventing infringements.  Their work can be seen on their website: https://airspacesafety.com/updates/.

We have also made available a copy of the Farnborough Airspace Presentation for those who were unable to attend here
