The idea behind this site is to try and chart the history of
drag racing in the UK from my own research and with the help of
yourselves, the racers and fans who were there at the time.
I got into drag racing back in 1983 reading the articles in Custom Car magazine. Then to my delight I saw a flyer about a meeting at Blackbushe near Camberley, Surrey which was happening just a few miles from where I lived.
